Black & Gold Salsa
Need a quick, healthy snack?
Perhaps you need to bring something to your next party or get-together?
How about you try my salsa recipe?
(1) In a bowl, mix together the following ingredients:
1 can of black beans (drained and then rinsed well)
1 can of sweet corn
Half of a fresh green bell pepper (chopped into smaller pieces)
Dash of sugar or 1 sugar substitute packet
1 teaspoon (or more depending on your preference) of Cajun seasoning mix (example: Weber N’Orleans Cajun Seasoning)
(2) Cover bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator to marinate for 3 or more hours.
(3) Serve bean and corn salsa with tortilla chips or pita chips.
