Just ask…

Thought I would share a random, yet helpful note from a fortunate fortune cookie…  The little cookie was tasty by the way… 🙂

  1. Reminds me of my fortune cookie letter. But why would you ask a question if you knew all the answers? Is it to throw others off so they won’t suspect you know it all?

    • I think that might be one interpretation. Perhaps you don’t want the other person to know that you have more knowledge than him/her or that you know certain important information. This might be strategic on your part. Maybe it could just be a matter of being polite? You might not want to give the other person the impression that you are a know-it-all.

Perhaps another interpretation is a bit more philosophical… It might be preferred to live a life asking questions like a student than to know absolutely everything there is know in the world… Is it a “good” thing for human beings to not have all the answers in life? I’m not sure… Food for thought. 🙂
