Although I have been walking most days to keep fit, I have not gone running for quite some time… actually since I ran a 10K early last month. It turned out that a few sore muscles included a strained or pulled muscle and my body just needed a break. Somehow over the past several weeks I forgot that, and yesterday I was feeling guilty that I hadn’t been running regularly. In the middle of my yoga routine this morning, I had a realization when I felt a little pain while stretching my right leg: I realized (again!) that I should ease up on myself. I have reasons for doing things (like taking an extended break from running), even if I don’t always remember the reasons. 🙂
I hope you are not too hard on yourself today with certain heavy thoughts.
