After much thought, I have decided to spend more energy in/on other parts of my life, which means stepping away from The Sparks Project online. The journey has been very educational and enriching, and I want to thank all of you readers and visitors for your interest and support.
I send you love and light as this hummingbird takes flight to the next flower. 😉
Today’s inspirational spark:
I had the honor of assisting with the Delgado family at graduation today. Many family, friends, classmates, and professors were in attendance and very proud of the awarding of a posthumous degree for Ms. Denise Delgado, a Political Science major student at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Her brother and two young children walked the stage to collect Ms. Delgado’s Bachelor’s degree. There was a standing ovation by the Class of 2015 when her name was read.
Denise was a beautiful person, hardworking student, dedicated mother, and good friend to many people. As one of her professors, today was mixed with happy and sad feelings.
If you would like to support her little boys and their grandmother who is taking care of them, please contribute to https://www.gofundme.com/delgadoboys and/or spread the word. Every little bit helps. God bless!
