The Delgado Boys

Today’s inspirational spark:

I had the honor of assisting with the Delgado family at graduation today. Many family, friends, classmates, and professors were in attendance and very proud of the awarding of a posthumous degree for Ms. Denise Delgado, a Political Science major student at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Her brother and two young children walked the stage to collect Ms. Delgado’s Bachelor’s degree. There was a standing ovation by the Class of 2015 when her name was read.

Denise was a beautiful person, hardworking student, dedicated mother, and good friend to many people. As one of her professors, today was mixed with happy and sad feelings.
